DC War Memorial Craft and Coloring Activities

The DC War Memorial is located south of the Reflecting Pool and north of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The Memorial honors the men and women from DC that died in World War I. Learn more about the DC War Memorial including information for planning a visit on its website here.

Below are some craft and coloring activities to pair with learning about and/or visiting the DC War Memorial.

  • World War I Curriculum - This World War I includes making a newspaper front page as well as worksheets covering various aspects of the war. Consider doing further front page projects featuring one of those on the memorial and/or with a focus on the happenings in D.C. during the war.
